Old Otterbein Church welcomes people of every denomination and faith to join us in worship, singing, prayer, serving, learning, and fun.  We welcome all people to join in the life of this church. Old Otterbein is a Reconciling Congregation which means we are LGBT Friendly – COME AS YOU ARE !

Who We Are

We celebrate our diversity of age, race, faith background, marital status, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, economic status, and political persuasion.  We are a small congregation, but an energetic one.  Virtually all of us are involved in some form of service to the church and the community. 

Old Otterbein is a member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Our Vision Statement

We recognize that worshipping God as individuals is not enough, that we must worship Him together in a community of believers.  In a community we seek to develop our spiritual disciplines of worship, prayer, study, stewardship, missions, and outreach.  We seek to grow together spiritually through Bible study, prayer, small group discussion, sharing with one another and serving others.  We will commit to one another to hold one another accountable, to be forgiving, to resolve conflict, and in all things seek to keep a spiritual focus.
